Good column again, Steve.

I look at the trade of the picks to get our picks back as the Nets way of buying an insurance policy. W Jordi and the talent on the team, I dont think the full tank was always the 100pc plan. Rather, i think they knew it was possible that the team MIGHT be truly awful, and having their picks back was the insurance policy that would soften the blow if that happened.

And as w insurance, if you dont have to ise it

As with insurance, if you dojt end up using it, it does not mean it was a bad decision to buy in the first place.

I'm happy jordi seems like a good coach.

I'm happy the team is playing hard.

I'm happy we are winning more games than expected.

And I'm happy that Sean thoughtfully bought this indurance policy at the beginning of the year in the very real case those things didnt happen and the season was a shit show.
