"It’s pretty apparent that no one on the remaining Nets roster is off the table..."

🤔 I wonder!

Because of GM leaks, I doubt Sean Marks is calling opposing GMs about specific trade packages involving Cam Thomas or Claxton. I suspect he got a few calls on Thomas. The offers must be poor, but I'm hoping Claxton AND Cam Johnson get traded before February 6th

Marks would trade anyone for the right price, but it’s not a fire sale. Sharpe’s name was mentioned so I commented. The Nets seem to be able to conduct a tank by holding players out, not just trading them. Whether there will be more actual moves is anyone’s guess. In season trades are so hard to execute with the aprons & hard caps rules.

Thank you for the response …. Clax would probably be an off-season trade. Just don’t see his game developing any further.

Either way, big men will be available late in first round to replace whichever one they trade. Marks’s specialty

Could one argue that Sharpe at 12m is a better bargain than Claxton at 25m? They should wait and see what Clax can bring back.

Kind of a false choice, because Sharpe is definitely not starting caliber. I don’t see Claxton getting traded in season, but you never know.

Your measured analyses are welcome less in the midst of few positives for this team perspectives become easily become askewed

Moses Malone always brings a smile when thinking about him and his rebounding ....very few of those guys any more in the NBA or who aspire to be such
