Let's pretend the Magic want what we have for a moment. With Irving’s pending free agency, I'd hate to lose Cam Thomas, although if he signed an extension before the season finishes, an event I'm predicting WILL happen, we could do without Cam.
Hello again, D-Rock. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I think the Nets can get away with Claxton/(insert floor spacing 5 here) & don't need to trade for 2 centers. I don't know what ORL wants for Bamba, but maybe a Curry/Thomas/2nd rounder gets it done. I once floated an expanded trade that also involved Gary Harris & Terrence Ross, but that was when no one was sure what the Nets were going to do with Irving. All signs point to Kyrie sticking around this season.

I agree with the two Centers idea. Sharpe won't play in the Playoffs, but he'll help every now and then during the regular season.
I have a feeling Irving will get a contract offer he can't refuse during this season. We'll see
