The change in the college sports landscape, where young men and women who used to perform free entertainment services while adults grabbed all the money from them now can earn a fraction of their values through NIL deals, has, in my opinion, been a wonderful development.
To me it is essential the Nets find a PG they can support and commit to building around. It is clear for most teams this is the fulcrum for growth, consistency and success. So be it by trade or draft hope they can use their assets to start here and find a team identity outside their excellent coach.
Good piece. I think Jakucionus deserves strong consideration at eight. He has a higher floor than Fears. Fears is much more athletic but Jakucionus has better size, outside shooting and court vision. Am starting to worry more about Maluach as an eighth pick. High risk for a premium pick. There should be solid center options at 26 and 27.

Thanks. Agree with the size & vision.
However, 3-point rates:
Fears 28.4%
Jakucionis 31.8%
Neither is satisfactory.
I just think Fears will be the better floor leader based on my limited viewings.
Maluach has the highest ceiling of the 3, IMO.
