Even way before last night's breakthrough game, and as early as the beginning of last season, i have felt the nets were actually better with sharpe on the floor. I would like to see him get more run and include clax in the list of tradeables but that doesnt seem to be on the agenda and im not sure who would take that contract without addl incentives.
On the CJ topic, really hope he is part of the rebuild. Our draft cupboard is pretty full and someone will need to provide leadership and scoring around/in support of whatver players we draft or otherwise acquire in the off season.
Thanks. I don’t think Claxton is going anywhere in season barring a contender losing a center. This summer, who knows? Really disappointed he hasn’t developed further—I thought he’d be better than Allen. Not a fan of Sharpe either, though he does get after it on the offensive glass. Too short & unskilled. CJ will require an offer that blows the Nets away.
